Abstract

The research titled "Community Service: Improving Village Neighborhood Economy through Innovation and Sustainable Engagement" focuses on the implementation of community service initiatives in the village of Kejawan Putih Tambak, Keputih, Surabaya. The aim of this research is to analyze the strategies and approaches used in developing the village's economy, with a focus on innovation and sustainable engagement. The research also highlights the role of parents, friends, and social media in influencing the attitude of IPB University students towards the maintenance of local languages. This research explores the role of community service initiatives in improving the economy of Kejawan Putih Tambak village in Surabaya through innovative and sustainable engagement (Wiratma & Gorda, 2020). By implementing various strategies such as building awareness, mapping potential, comparative studies, and training programs, the village of Kejawan Putih Tambak has transformed its economy and created new opportunities for its residents. These initiatives have not only focused on economic development but also emphasized the preservation of local culture, resources, and sustainable practices.
